Virginia Duplessis, MSW
Virginia (she/her) is the Director of the National Health Resource Center on Domestic Violence and Associate Director of Health at Futures Without Violence. She has worked in gender-based violence prevention and response for over 20 years, with much of that time focused on creating trauma-informed and healing-centered healthcare systems. She is also trained as a doula, currently volunteering at her local public hospital and serving on her county’s perinatal equity initiative community advisory board. Virginia is a recent empty nester who loves baking vegan treats, walking her two rescue pups, and treating herself to elaborate nail art.
