Paulina Guerrero, PhD

Paulina (she/they) has been working in reproductive rights, health, and justice since 2001. She worked as a hotline operator and case manager at the National Abortion Federation for 10 years. She has also worked within abortion clinics, abortion funds, homeless shelters, substance use recovery, and mental health. She has volunteered in harm-reduction organizations, community gardens, and intentional communities. In 2018 she graduated with a PhD in Folklore where she studied personal narrative, abortion counseling, and gendered and racialized work traditions. She has participated as an expert witness for Indiana state litigation to remove restrictions on abortion access and has also provided Congressional testimony on the Impacts of Roe Reversal. Currently she provides in-person and online training both in her role at All-Options and as an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies department. Throughout her work, she grounds her values in liberation and radical care.
