To our All-Options Community –
We hope you and yours are doing well amidst this challenging start to the year. Today, we have significant updates regarding a transition in our leadership and the future of All-Options.
After 15 years of service, Parker Dockray has ended her tenure as Executive Director. On behalf of the All-Options community, we extend our deepest gratitude to Parker for her passion, dedication, and service to our mission – to honor people’s decisions, feelings, and experiences with pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. With her leadership, All-Options’ staff and volunteers have strengthened the Talkline, launched the nation’s first All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center, created Indiana’s first and only abortion fund, and expanded Faith Aloud. Her time at All-Options has left a lasting mark on our organization, and we extend our best wishes as she embarks on her next chapter.
We also want to share a difficult, yet necessary, update: All-Options is facing a very real possibility of closing our organization by the end of June 2025. Over the coming months we will be assessing potential ways to sustain All-Options in a significantly reduced and/or restructured capacity. If we are unable to keep our organization alive, we are committed to treating our staff with dignity, rehoming programs responsibly, and sunsetting programs compassionately if needed.
When the Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, we saw an unprecedented outpouring of financial support from funders, donors, and our community. We are deeply grateful for your investments in our work – it helped us strengthen our programs and increase our staff. But the unfortunate reality is that we have been unable to sustain this level of income to resource our organization. Funding for reproductive health, rights, and justice is more important than ever; however, fundraising has become an immense challenge for our organization. As a result, we are facing some hard realities and intend to navigate our next steps with deep respect, grace, courage and care for the communities and people we serve as well as the staff who lovingly coordinate and manage our programs.
Although we are entering a turbulent chapter of our organization’s history, we are honored to announce that Taja Lindley will be guiding All-Options as Interim Executive Director, specifically to lead us through the difficult process of assessing our potential future thoughtfully. For the past 14 months, Taja has been instrumental as our National Programs Director, supporting and growing the Talkline, Faith Aloud, and Pregnancy Options Workshops to reach more communities. A visionary leader and advocate for reproductive justice, she brings deep expertise, care, and a commitment to honoring the dignity and decisions of all people.
We trust that Taja’s leadership will feature the same strength and dedication she has brought to All-Options since she joined, and that she will lead with compassion, integrity, and a vision that aligns with the values of our organization. Her tenure will focus on intentionally figuring out our next steps, which may include winding down operations while finding new homes for our programs, ensuring that they continue to service our clients and callers.
To our beloved community: your support has always been the foundation of our work! Through every challenge, you have uplifted All-Options and the people who relied on us for over two decades. We appreciate any and all support that you have to offer as we navigate this transition over the next few months. Your donations are urgent and necessary resources that will help us effectively and successfully meet this moment.
You’ll soon have a chance to meet Taja as she introduces herself and provides updates about the future of All-Options. There will also be opportunities for you to join us in celebrating the history and legacy of our organization. Please continue to support us and our work during this critical time, and thank you for being a part of our story.
With deep gratitude,
All-Options Board of Directors
