Taja (she/her) joined All-Options in November 2023 as the National Programs Director. As a proud Aunty and eldest sister, Taja brings her passion for people and her commitment to community to the All-Options team. And in true Cancer fashion, care and compassion are centered in her work as she leads the overall direction and development of All-Options’ national programs.
For nearly two decades, Taja has demonstrated her longstanding and unwavering commitment to reproductive justice as an artist, cultural worker, healer, facilitator, consultant, and employee. She is most known for her performances, installations, and podcasting addressing state sanctioned violence, reproductive freedom, economic sovereignty, bodily autonomy, and our relationship with the past. Taja has worked with non-profits, community based organizations, research institutes, and government agencies on policies and programming that impact women and girls, communities of color, low/no/fixed-income families, queer people, youth, and immigrants. As a full-spectrum doula, she has supported hundreds of folks having abortions and giving birth.
Taja earned her B.A. from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she designed her own major, concentrating in public policy and knowledge production with a focus on health and women of color. When she’s not creating art, Taja is making magic and medicine, studying plants and planets, and reading cards and stars.
